Oh! I nearly forgot to introduce myself: my name is Daria Pacetto, the villa's owner. On the other page I'll tell you more about me!
What is Vinciucci?
Vinciucci is an antique villa from the 1700’s built on the remains of a sighting tower used to spot saracenic invasions. It overlooks the carob tree fields and the sea, visible on the horizon. From the terrace you can also see the plateau which connects Modica and Ispica, in the Ragusa province.
It is a little oasis, ideal to stop and discover the south in every season; it is very near to several archaeological, architectural and natural areas of great interest, such as the “Cava d'Ispica” or the baroque cities of the “Val di Noto".
The large and bright rooms are cosy and characteristic, plus they all contain air-conditioners or ceiling fans. I'll offer you a very good breakfast with local organic and fair trade products.

Villa Vinciucci was one of the first organic farmhouses in Sicily, but in the last few years the land has been turned into mediterranean maquis, including carob and olive trees, brooms, and other shrub essence. Furthermore, it periodically hosts some bee hives for organic honey production.
Around the house it is possible to pick up capers, various fruits, wild herbs and asparagus; you can also sunbathe alongside the old storage tank and relax in the shadow of the trees. For small groups on request I offer a half board service, made of local and/or organic food. We also organize excursions, trekking, and horse rides. Cats and dogs are welcome!
You'll be given a warm welcome and, if you like, I am more than happy to give you
some precious advice about the itineraries to follow, in search of ancient and reinvented traditions, places and tastes, in order to live a holiday tailored to your your personal interests and needs.

Suitable for a couple, the furniture is tastefully restored, mainly in blue. It contains a balcony, facing south, from where you can see the entrance way to the villa.

How can I reach Vinciucci?
Villa Vinciucci is located in South-East Sicily, in the countryside between the towns of Modica and Ispica (v. Google Mappe). It is easily accessible from the SS115, km 348.

If you arrive in Sicily by train, the quickest way to reach us is to get off at Catania and take the Catania-Modica bus, which takes less time than the Siracusa-Modica one.
